Marlo Landcare Group
What we do
Marlo Landcare was formed in 1997 and covers approximately 12,000 ha from east of the Snowy River to Cape Conran.
Current membership totals 32 family groups with 72 members.
Let’s get together
Marlo Landcare regularly meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month at its two revegetation sites – the old Marlo tip and the Marlo escarpment in town. If you’re interested in joining our group, come along!
Our projects
Protecting endangered littoral rainforest is the driver for our projects. We also have the occasional spotlighting night and social get together.
Other projects include motion sensitive cameras that are doing the rounds of member’s backyards to identify what native animals are visiting, installing deer fencing, weeding and planting.
Every year Marlo Landcare participates in Clean Up Australia Day.
Where are we?
